Our Three Critical Ministry Mandates

The Celtic Catholic Church (CCC) is defined by its mandate to express faith through active, compassionate, and spiritually authoritative service. All OSP members and Chaplains are dedicated to these three constitutional ministries.

We embrace the ancient Celtic principle of Céad Míle Fáilte—"A Hundred Thousand Welcomes." This ministry ensures that every person who crosses our threshold experiences the genuine love and radical acceptance of Christ.

• Focus: Welcoming newcomers, facilitating fellowship, providing assistance to those in transition, and ensuring a true sense of belonging in the community.
• Action: Providing immediate practical and spiritual support to integrate all into the life of the Church.

We recognize the inherent dignity and wisdom of our elders. This ministry is designed to provide holistic care that addresses the physical, social, and spiritual well-being of our senior members.

• Focus: Providing comfort, dignity, and continued engagement for those in their later years.
• Action: Regular visitation, coordination of transport, social gatherings, and specialized one-on-one Spiritual Companionship provided by Chaplains trained in end-of-life and pastoral care.

Following the bold example of Saint Patrick's spiritual battle against the forces of darkness, this ministry is dedicated to prayerful intercession, healing, and deliverance.

• Focus: Restoring individuals who are under spiritual distress, bondage, or in need of deep intercession.
• Action: This ministry is conducted only by Chaplains who have received specialized certification in spiritual restoration. It is grounded in the authority of Christ, the disciplines of the Order of Saint Patrick (OSP), and the orthodox theology of the Church, focusing on liturgical confession and absolution as means of deliverance.
